One of my guilty pleasures is The Weather Channel's hurricane coverage. I don't like to wish ill upon anyone, don't get me wrong - I hope that whoever is in the path of a major hurricane hunkers down and stays safe, for real - but I love hurricane season.

More specifically, I love that Jim Cantore draws the short straw every year and ends up standing out in 120 mph winds hanging on to whatever lamp post or park bench he can, getting pounded by blinding rain and palm leaves.

I wouldn't do it, that's for damn sure.
