I wish this concerned me more than it does, but:

I have a 3-year-old who says "dammit" all the time now.

Chalk one up to bad parenting!

    At least he's not saying "cocksucker." Give it time, I guess.

    Caitlyn said "mommy" when she was about three months old, but I'm sure that was an accident. Since she's been more verbal lately, she's said "Yeah!" and "Oogie."

  2. Yeah ... the thing about "dammit" is that it's a gateway word to more profane usage, like your "cocksuckers" and your "fucks."

    Which .... the prospect of all of this makes me feel oogie.
